I come from a long line of artists and artisans; the drive to make things beautiful is in my blood. In fact, I’d say I inherited the ability to conceptualize an aesthetic plan from my mother, an interior designer, and the awareness of how to execute it from my father, a carpenter. For me, graphic design was the perfect intersection of these two skills.

After receiving my BFA in Communication Design from Carnegie Mellon, I entered the corporate world where I designed environmental graphics, marketing plans, books and brands. I spent more than a decade there before pursuing my dream of growing my own design studio. Today I provide creative direction, editorial design, production services and photo styling to an ever-growing roster of businesses and entrepreneurs. I believe that while beauty is important, it’s not the whole story: great design also conveys clarity, purpose and meaning.

My work reflects an attention to detail (sometimes veering into obsession territory) and high aesthetic standards, but colleagues and clients tell me it’s my easy-going nature and innate optimism they love the most. On weekends you might find me on an adventure with my family — the beach and trails are always a good bet — or doing something crafty with my girls.
